In 2002 she was accepted in Marmara University Dentistry Faculty.

In 2007 she was graduated and worked as a general dentist for one year.

In 2008 she was included in doctoral program of Erciyes University Dentistry Faculty Orthodontics Department

During her doctoral education, she was prepared and represented seminars about ORTHOGNATIC SURGICAL TREATMENTS and METHODS USED FOR PREVENTION OF RELAPS OF TEETH TO THEIR PREVIOUS POSITION AFTER ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT.

She was studied about FUNCTIONAL JAW ORTHOPEDICS, RAPID TOOTH MOVEMENT, VIBRATIONAL DEVICES FOR ACCELERATION OF TOOTH MOVEMENT, TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDERS, CROSS BITE OCCLUSIONS.

She searched about force types used for completion of orthodontic treatment in a shorter time period in her thesis study with “THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT FORCE TYPES ON TEETH MOVEMENT’’ title. She was started to use the method providing rapid closure of gaps by using a special force applicator device called  “Hycon Device” and mini screws. The results of those treatments were confirmed by genetic analysis, x- rays and model analysis.

In 2013 she had DOCTOR OF SCIENCE and ORTHODONTIST titles by presenting her thesis study successfully.

She has been keeping continue her studies focusing on patients by upgrading her communication with patients thanks to her after graduation certificates about ELOQUENCE PHONETICS AND DICTION, COMMUNICATION TECHNICS.

The doctor also had HYPNOSIS IN DENTISTRY education and had certificates about hypnosis for increasing patient compliance and motivation, eliminating nausea reflex, reducing teeth grinding reflex in orthodontics treatment..

She had certificates about TREATMENTS WITH CLEAR ALIGNERS, LINGUAL TREATMENTS and also she is a practitioner.

She increased her clinical effectiveness by having education about CLINICAL USAGE OF MINI SCREWS.

Beside, she has been performing orthodontic treatment intending to increase effectiveness of esthetic procedures in anterior region by attending seminars and classes about PORCELAIN LAMINATE VENEER PROCEDURES AND ANTERIOR TEETH FILLINGS.

She has become an expert about prediction and evaluation of the best aesthetic results by having DENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY and SMILE DESIGN education.

She had DERMAL FILLING AND BOTOX education and provide having the best esthetic results not only for dental treatments but also for all face.

She is following and performing all innovations in her field and keeping continue to improve herself.

Dr Özlem Aylıkcı is married and mother of two children and serving her patients in Style Dental Clinic since 2021.
